Great. So we still won't sign any big name free agents, and continue losing in the first round of the playoffs. Why the fuck won't a group of private investors buy them instead of a fucking corporation. Teams owned by corporations never fucking do good because they are too pussy assed to spend the money it takes to win.

The Braves have consistently spent $85-95M a year. It's not like they are the Royals or some small market team.. They just use their $$ to sign homegrowns longterm instead of free agents..

Yeah, they end up signing people past their prime to huge contracts instead of trading them or signing younger big free agents. Chipper has to be the most overpaid overrated player in the NL. Remember when they signed Maddox to like a $16mil one year deal for 15wins his last year.
