dunno if this'll gain any ground
i've been listening to band of gypsys (filmore 2 cd set) harcorde (again)
i think that this band is the most superior of any of his incarnations and was wondering if anyone knew of this band having any other recordings
i love me some experience too, but gypsys has a groove to it that can't be matched...makes me crazy every time i hear that he was scheduled to go into the studio with miles, but the unfortunate sequence happened prior --

Sorry, marko, I love Buddy Miles, but I'm a Mitch Mitchell man--all the way. NB: I am posting this as a drummer with experience (no pun intended) in a variety of musical genres over the last thirty years. 2/15/2007 2:45:48 AM |
