Harvick FTW I do miss the Goodwrench theme though. With his new uniform he looks like Ronald McDonald with down syndrome 2/19/2007 9:46:49 AM |

i like martin and was pulling for him to win it finally, but i would have just put his ass into the wall. blocking bastard.
i find it amusing that the camry is the only car in the field that's made in the usa.
boyer's finish is what you call doing it in style.
it looks like all of nascar's work to even the cars up is starting to pay off. 2/19/2007 6:20:41 PM |

Out of how many that tried to qualify? For a car's first race EVER in Nascar, just fielding four cars that finish is a pretty damn good feat IMHO2/19/2007 7:23:42 PM |

i am a martin fan and have been since i was a little kid
any driver in that field would've blocked, i mean, the general idea is to WIN and i'm pretty sure you too would've blocked if you were leading the daytona 500 on the last lap
don't badmouth martin for trying to win without driving someone dirty, if he had've taken someone out (as you suggest harvick should've) you could talk shit about him

hey toyota got caught with their pants down with the cheating thing. you know some japanaese execs are shamed and commiting suicide over that shit. hey KartRaceKid works for evernham, maybe he will chime in with his side of the story.
maybe he can hook me up with some of those additives 2/19/2007 7:56:22 PM |

replace toyota with evernham, then yes. they drilled out rivets and bolts, which they were allowed to do under last year's rules. 2/21/2007 6:08:52 PM |

Michael Waltrip's Toyota did get caught with "fuel additives" 2/21/2007 6:23:29 PM |

"mysterious" substance in the intake manifold. they won't release what it actually was (that i've seen). 2/21/2007 6:56:38 PM |
stowaway All American 11770 Posts user info edit post |
whatever got in the IM, got there through the carb and fuel system. nascar had the team put a new manifold on, which was clean, sent the car out for qualifying, it came back with junk in it. Nascar took the car, let it sit for a few days, started the car on wed. morning, junk in IM returned. It is most likely an additive in high end fuels, that is VERY hard to obtain and even big name teams would have trouble getting it. toyota on the other hand....

Exactly my point, Dodge had been in it previously so they at least had a history.

Every damn team in the cup cheats. They have as long as NASCAR has been in existance. And I don't have any problem with it. Get caught, deal with it.2/22/2007 7:50:50 PM |

I think the cheating is fine. Keeps it interesting, but if they dont get caught we will never know about it. 2/22/2007 7:54:39 PM |

they can't allow cheating 'cause then there's a chance the team who is supposed to win might not. 2/22/2007 8:39:29 PM |
