It's pretty much guaranteed that I'll be up there if the weather is nice. I might stop by and say whats up if that's cool.

hell no, no one likes girls bathing suits.

i've got a bike trailer you can borrow (assuming this happens and you still want to take it).

Memorial Day is what I usually think of as "opening weekend." It's nuts. I love it.

crowded uwharrie can be fun too, watching other people get stupid on kodak rock in front of a crowd. you dont get as much wheeling in obviously but after 4 months it will be good to do something like real wheeling.

[Edited on February 19, 2007 at 11:49 PM. Reason : theres easily room for 10-15 people to stay there over the weekend]

i wish i had my gp1200 together. not that it matters, i couldn't ride the damn thing right now or by then anyway.

i don't mind bringing the wave raider for everyone else to play on though...

well, you can stay at the dock. i was talking about bringing my fishing boat. but i guess we could go slow. however, gaston is a big lake so it'll probably take a while to get to the good spots.

nah, i'd should be fine in a bass/fishing boat by then. just not the constant shit of a ski boat/wave runner.

100 bucks says you cant climb the hill near my grandparents house on the backside of the dam, its about a 80 foot tall foot climb at about a 60 degree angle in red clay and loose gravel, ive seen a few people try, and a few end up in the river way, way, way below

^^how about a waverunner? i'm considering selling my wave raider 760 this spring/summer to fund the new motor for my gp1200.

^funny you mention that, i came VERY close to sinking one up there one time. dug into a wake, boat swamped... managed to stand on one rail, grab the other side, and flip it over before it started going down.

it's in really good shape for it's age. 1996 model. some of the plastic pieces are fading a bit. some minor blemishes in the gelcoat on the bottom, nothing major at all.

damn solid mechanically, cranks up every time. fairly low hours. i've never had a problem with it. it's stock, runs 50-55mph depending on water conditions and fresh or salt.
