^^ That's impossible.

They probably just did that as standard "major injury" type stuff, like when you leave the hospital.

He faked the injury

He just wanted to get off the court so he wouldn't have to hear Dikembe Mutumbo talk anymore

haha he looked like a wuss. gettin carted off in a wheelchair for a dislocated shoulder. wow. whatever contact caused the injury, i bet the refs awarded the heat 12 free throws and ball.

i dont dislike wade, i just hate the way he gets pampered by the refs.

I'm sure he didn't NEED the wheelchair, but it can minimize the jarring/straining of the shoulder and keep the damage to a minimum. I'm sure if your shoulder was worth texa$ and it was how I made a living, and the trainers had a wheelchair available you all would use it.

Anyone who wears full lower body padding because of all the flopping he does deserves to be injured.

my roomate dislocated his shoulder over break. he walked fine, was in a shit ton of pain, but never cried. he said he was nowhere close to that sort of pain. its times like this when you realize that alot ofthese guys arent "hard", theyre just bball players.

his shoulder had been bothering him for weeks before anyway

and now he's contemplating surgery so maybe just maybe it was a little worse than your roomates injury?

Do you realize how much the severity varies with a joint thats as complicated as the shoulder?

D.Wade is one of the toughest players in the league. The wheelchair probably wasnt absolutely necessary, but when you injure your shoulder the slightest movements can cause excrutiating pain.

I really hope this doesnt cost me my fantasy championship.

Wade is on the floor and he takes lots of hits. But to call him tough? He's a drama queen. He flops constantly. He gets hurt in the 1st quarter of games, but somehow manages to come back half way through the game. He is either the toughest man on the planet, or has a low tolerance for pain for an athlete. He did cry like he was Adam Morrison.

hes contemplating surgery because he doesnt want his shoulder popping out every time it gets hit the wrong way. when you dislocate it once, it has a much higher chance of happening again. a buddy of mine had to get surgery on his shoulder as well, from the EXACT same thing. he stretched his shoulder out doing something stupid, and it was bothering him. 2 days later we were playing bball in the gym, and he stuck his arm out just like D wade did and it got popped straight out. he had a very low tolerance for pain, and never once shed a tear. he ended up getting surgery.

i just find it funny that many of these players act all hard and shit, but a dislocated shoulder puts one in tears and a wheelchair.

^ D Wade could have hypothetically cried at the thought of loosing his health while he was just getting to the peak of his career.

Pat Riley even said it, he basically said "Wade falls down TOO much, he even falls when he doesn't need to and that cripples us on defense"

funny thing is I could change the applicable statments and have them describe Reggie Bush or Michael Vick to a T

The guy basically singlehandedly won an NBA championship.

Thats not something even Michael Jordan can claim.

Haters.

They just need to turn the offense over to Antoine Walker

He brought Boston back to excellence, he can lead the Heat to two in a row

i have had two shoulder surgeries and have had both of my shoulders dislocate SEVERAL times........the pain is excruciating........the last time it happened my shoulder stayed out of the socket for well over an hour before i got to the emergency room to pop it back in.......if that wont bring a few tears to your eyes i dont know what will......just watching the replay of it happening to D Wade makes me cringe...........so dont hate on the guy for cryin

this is the dumbest thing I have read in sports talk lately.

The guy gives up his body every night, UNLIKE 95% of the players in the NBA. I have nothing but respect for the boy. I tore my deltoid and that shit hurt. I have a close friend who has shoulder problems (often dislocates it playing sports) and it brings him to his knees. He lets out a scream like someone is stabbing him with a knife...so STFU. If you have never experienced it, then don't talk shit.
