With NC State coming into Florida State, and with FSU being on the bubble, possibly, FSU will have to win this game and needs this game, and its senior nightafternoon too. Florida State only has one more game after this. If that's not all NC State is up against, FSU is on a 5 game losing streak since their win at Duke. NC State comes in needing one more win for post season play.

We dont need this game nearly as much as they do. The only thing we have to play for now is an NIT berth, which we should get at home against Wake on Wednesday night.

It would be nice to have it all wrapped up after the FSU game, but though I want us to win, I cant say that I think we will win at FSU this year. The UNC game probably took it outtof us so I wouldnt be surprised to see us lay an egg like we did in Miami.

^^^ If your in Charleston, check out the abundance of hot women over this bball game. Thats something Charleston will always have that Raleigh certainly lacks.... Go to the wake game...
(If you have to: try South End Brewery downtown on market st., they have lotsa TVs though I cant say if they will have the game on FSN; delicious micro-beer too)

I think the team will come out fired up since Sidney will be back on the sidelines. I expect us to play well in this game. Thornton presents matchup problems for us especially if any of our big men get into foul trouble.

King St Grille or Omalley's. Both on King St. Both have a shitload of TVs and usually have plenty of State fans there watching games. Omalley's has small flat screens in every booth too.

Food at both places are decent...King St has a better beer selection.

How do we not need this win?

FSU is not going to make the tournament, or at least not without a deep ACC run.

Plus if we beat them and since its the only meeting we will move ahead of them in the standings.

No way. Our RPI is 118. The only way we make the NCAA is to win the ACC tournament. it's pointless to talk about making the NCAAs. With our bench, there's no way we'll win 4 games in 4 days.

^^it could happen, but that could only be the case if someone showed up who hasnt shown us anything terribly significant yet to get our starters some help (Turd Ferg, Horner, Darell Davis, Nieman, Bartosz!?!??!). Odds are very very very low considering our 1st round opponent will probably be UNC, UVA, or VT (beating them thrice is gonna be tough).

Also, we DO NOT need this game, but DO need a gameto get into the NIT. We can win that tourney I think because we will finally be playing teams that also lack depth and consistency. That being said, it would be great to have the NIT berth wrapped up today.....
