Hickson's in, along with 1 for G Tech and 3 for duke, and Jai Lucas is undecided

So how many of the Dookies will transfer or stay and suck balls in college like half their McD's AA's? Also they have the market cornered on ugly as soon, goofy as shit, and easily hateable crackers... Singler is even worse than Dunleavey..

Too bad we couldn't keep Chris Wright. Hickson and Wright would have been a top level class. As it is Georgetown is cleaning up on the recruiting trail recently. Two straight years they get 2 McD's AA's...

They must not realize they are playing the princeton offense.

It's somewhat of a Princeton offense but Thompson, III has shown he can develop players really well. Hibbert and Wallace have both developed amazingly over their time there.

Georgetown is going to be one of the elite programs in the country for a long time...

saying "princeton offense" around here is like saying "liberal" on fox news.

I don't think people realize that G'Town will be in the Top 10 and possibly a 2 seed this year with a very, very young team. Or maybe they just are so pissed off about our old offense that it makes them very ignorant to other teams around the country?

^ I don't know if that was supposed to be a negative...

I'm not even talking about herb or our Princeton offense.

I'm just mildly annoyed by the hate that springs up whenever the words "Princeton offensse" are uttered.

Whether you think it was good here or not, apparently it's doing pretty damn well at Georgetown.

Eric Gordon is gonna go off. I saw him on ESPNU and that kid's game is nasty.

Also Michael Beasley has the Stuart Scott look in his photo.

I think we also had a pretty good shot at Freeman before he chose Georgetown. We had the potential to have a pretty sick class this year.

I'm ecstatic with Hickson though.

Jai Lucas is averaging 25 points and 7.3 assists and we're concerned about his size? PFFFFFFFFF

I was just poking fun. When you get so many some aren't going to pan out (Boetang and Thompson come to mind). Though Aristotle is correct and Duke is certainly not the only school in that respect.

G'Town doesn't have a problem scoring (78.3 a game versus our 71.6 this year). When you play a Ben Howland defense that is what happens though. Pitt and UCLA have been VERY, VERY effectice winning games in the 50s and 60s. Two of the most effective programs in the country right now... but I guess it's more important to score 80+ a game like Pepperdine does.

---------

To my knowledge, we have no scholarships available even if Jai wanted to come here. I'd rather not be like UNC football and start to strip schollys away from kids we gave them to unless they volunteer (a la Wes Miller over there this year)...

[Edited on February 25, 2007 at 11:06 AM. Reason : lol at G'Town not being able to score.. dumb people in here.]

yes, there is a slight chance but dont hold your breath

I dont remember the last time State reeled in 2 McD's AA in one class (plus the fact that to everyone's knowledge, we don't have any schollys left to give unless Bartosz or someone else transfers or Grant is deported or someone goes pro early)

Dont forget that Georgetown doesnt have a scholarship to offer Chris Wright either. Playing by the rules is overrated anyway.

it was espn or espn2, not espnu...it was the game against jordan's two kids and he was pretty impressive.

i'm calling taylor king as mvp...he's larry bird reincarnated...he's got the best shot for a tall, goofy white kid ever and one of the quickest releases i've ever seen.

also, patrick patterson is leaning heavily towards duke which would bolster their class even more. he's an extremely impressive big man and very developed for his age.

As pointless as this is...I'm glad that we were one of 3 teams within the ACC to pick up a McD's AA. I know that players don't always equate to their potential, but still a good pick up.

didnt really know what thread to post this in but found this vid on youtube:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=2WxqFeMWFrs

it's a video mainly for brandon jennings, but he makes several nice passes to jj hickson and kevin love for scores. just posting the vid b/c of hickson, not jennings.

Jennings to USC after OJ Mayo plays there a year. If their coach is smarter, they could do well. Mayo recruited Jennings for the USC coach

mayo recruited himself for floyd as well

and i have no idea what type of event that is. apparantly it's the top 24 players or something. but yeah jennings looks like he belongs on the and-1 tour lol.

looks damn good though. with some discipline i'd love a shot at a guy like that runnin the point. i still can't believe the luck of tim floyd with mayo just falling into his lap and bringing jennings along.

I like how people are picking on the offense that is currently 3rd in points per possession (2nd when adjusted for schedule strength)

i've seen jennings in person and he doesn't play that flashy in "real games." he's very solid though.
