the doherty years aside, most carolina fans don't know losing and don't take it very well. we were spoiled by dean smith, then bill guthridge, and now roy's 05 title. he's never gonna call a timeout to curb an opponent run, and he'll likely never design an endgame play worth a crap. deep down we know we're in a good situation, but losing is almost taboo to most carolina fans

Its funny as hell to watch this shit over at IC though. Its almost exactly what happened to us last year with the exception of NC State not being picked to win the NC, although losing to shittier teams.

They all gave us hell for running Herb out of town, when what they are doing is no worse. They bitch about Roy like he's a god damn scrub. Thats unreal. They're 2 years removed from a national championship and half of them want to run their fucking coach off.
