The last two years, haven't we had a player taken out of the Wake game. Two years ago, it was Hodge's battered man. Last year, it was Grant's broken nose. I wonder if something will happen this year.

I will be rooting for NCSU this time because I absolutely hate Fake Forest worse than anyone. Any school that accepts a player of Chris Paul's moral values is a joke. Josh Howard and Paul are two of the dirtiest players in the NBA. Not to mention I come from Winston where everyone like Wake Forest and they are all incredibly ignorant basketball fans. I have no opinion on Duncan's character but he is the boring player to watch on TV I can't even watch Spurs games. The current Wake team is pathetic. NC state wins this one in a blowout

I don't think we need to beat Wake to get into the NIT. If we lose to UMD (probably) and lose in the first round of the ACC tournament (most likely since we won't be playing VT) even beating Wake our RPI will still be where it is now at 116.

And the NIT is only 32 teams. The only way we get in is if the selection committee thinks highly enough of our win against UNC and the 2 against VT. Winning or losing to Wake won't make much difference either way imo. Personally, I think we'll get in regardless.

With our short bench, we will be lucky to make it through the second half of our Thursday game, much less the second half of a Sunday game after playing Thursday, Friday and Saturday. There's not much of any chance to win the ACC tourney on 5.5 sets of legs.
