and another Big South championship for Winthrop. I actually wanted VMI bc they would've been an interesting matchup in the tourney and I think Winthrop gets in at large regardless.

so when/where will he go? i like Sid a lot but this guy was my favorite candidate all along. there is no doubt he belongs in a major conference

I think Wake would rather target a bigger name to try to keep interest and money flowing.

I also think Marshall has a bright future somewhere, though.

During our coaching search, I kept saying wanted us to give a look to Gregg Marshall.


After hearing more about him, he's supposedly really hard for an AD to work with and is a loose cannon on the sideline. I've heard his public speaking / behavior makes Chuck Amato look like a PR superstar.

He's a good coach, but I've been told there's a reason he is where he is. I dunno the extent of how true it is
