he was definitely going after the ball until the pump fake caused another duke player to push it away.. looked like henderson was trying to avoid hitting handsbrough since he couldn't reach the ball and elbow meets nose.

but hey.. the suspension helps us on Thursday.. so i'm complaining too much.

Well they both were making a play for the ball(s), I guess that much is the same. But I'm undecided on the intent in this one. I'd most likely say the guy was in the process of swatting at the ball when it got knocked away.

Of course if it were one of our own, we'd all be flipping out. Just like pretty much every call against us on the home court gets boos.

You not part of the delusional portion of our fanbase that the entire ACC laughs at when we predict ACC championships in all sports preseason, and say "no big deal" with regards to incidents like the one with hansbrough, and if it had been one of our own in Costner or McCauley we'd be screaming for the lethal injection of K and Henderson.

And I can add you to the list of people who fail to admit that if it were one of our own, you'd be flipping out, but since it's another team, you like to say no biggie. And I'll also concede that you didn't hear K in the post game when asked about the incident he said "why was (hansbrough) in the game at that point anyway" without apologizing first, as if that's any justification to break his face.

the goodlife, I'll refresh your memory, Horner set up directly underneath he goal, he caused his own vulnerability. And it was a close game, and the Georgia tech guy wasn't playing out of control, just driving to the goal. This is so entertaining to rational people to hear some of these responses. Henderson should be suspended and I think he is, is it offical.

Origianlly it looked like henderson just wanted to throw hansbrough's shit but got carried away and jumped to high and when he tried to swat the ball he was coming down and ended swatting him in the face. Hebderson deserved to be ejected but it was more in the heat of the game and he got carried away.

In another matter why was hansbrough still in the game with 14 seconds left when up more than 10 trying to lay it up instead of killing the clock. In some ways roy and company where askin for it.

In my opinion it is the losing teams choice to make. If they are going to continue to foul and press full court then the other team should leave their starters in. If they concede, then the opposing team SHOULD take their starters out. K didn't take his guys out or tell them to concede so why should Roy?

I still don't think it was intentional but what K said was complete bullshit. If both teams should have had their walkons in, why didn't you fucking take the initiative? Oh, that's right... you NEVER take your starters out. For fuck sakes McEurope was in against us until the final buzzer..

If Hansbrough had made that last FT he was coming out of the game fwiw. Still, I don't really mind people leaving their starters in. God knows I want to beat UNC by as much as humanly possible when we play them..

I definitely don't think he should be suspended. His eyes were closed and the back of his head was facing Hansborough when he hit him. I wonder if there is any appeal process for something like this?
