Soccer & Cricket are the only true global team sports. And India is great at one of those.
But, aside from that.. India is good at many other sports, but most of those tends to be confined to India since they didn't go colonizing the world.3/6/2007 10:43:42 PM |

so i know nothing about cricket but see highlights on Sky Sports News. I can't figure out what the hell is going on. Is it something that is real confusing if you did not grow up with it? if you get 3 outs the other team bats but sometimes do they decide they have enough runs and let the other team bat without being out? I realize this question is dumb- any help please 3/7/2007 8:56:25 PM |

There are 1.3 billion people in china. you dont think 4% of them can participate in dragon boat racing? especially when there are like 30-40 of the fuckers to a boat

dude, i considered that before you pointed it out. again, it still doesn't change the fact that a shitload of more people participate in dragon boat racing than hockey. hey, atleast hockey is more popular than rugby. that really suprises me, because rugby is played in way more countries than hockey. 3/23/2007 5:40:59 PM |

Mainly South Asian and Afro-Caribbean ex-pats. We did not qualify. See final qualifying group tables below, five qualified (top two in each plus the Dutch). The ten test nations (England, Australia, New Zealand, West Indies-a conglomeration of most of the English-speaking Caribbean countries, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and South Africa) plus Kenya automatically qualified.
But we did qualify for the Rugby World Cup in September.
