I have no idea the teams because it doesn't matter, but Duke beat 3 teams 3 times in 99.....So I hope this is not the hat our teams hangs it's hat on.

Rebounding is crucial, letting Singletary penetrate cannot happen. Make UVA (other than Reynolds) shoot jump shots, and simply box out and we have a 50/50 shot

so i guess we lose saturday cuz we beat wake and vt twice but uva beat us twice. this makes wake and miami the favorites cuz i'm pretty sure they lost to the most people twice.

I'm much more worried about our defense than our offense...with how well we played inside offense last night, we need to spread it out a little more and try and hurt them with some outside shots from Atsur and Fells because UVA will score a lot.

I'm scared about being able to slow down their guard play

This is a much tougher test than last night. Our defense was soft all game yesterday, but Duke is a mediocre to bad offensive team so it was alright. UVa is a good offensive team so the bottom line is we have to play MUCH tougher defense on the perimeter if we want to win.

I think Costner and McCauley will end up being the keys as we hold the advantage down low IMO.. I think we might have enough to pull off one more upset here though.

That game yesterday gave us all hope. BUT! We will most likely have to shoot >=60% from the field again if we are going to pull this off. It can happen, but other than the VT>UNC games, we havent followed up a great shooting game with another one all year long.....

That being said, Fells didnt play all that great against VT and then BAM! against UNC....

Prediciton : 84-83 on a Fells jumper in final seconds for the win....

is there a scenario where state gets into the tournament besides winning the ACC?

I know we played like dogshit for about half the season, but its frustrating because we have shown flashes of brilliance where we could hang with anyone in the country.

Plus I know we could pound whatever 15-16 seed mid major team gets in.
