Lowe came straight from the NBA to State with no break, took a bunch of local (NC) kids who he didn't even recruit, convinced them to stick around, and helped them to become a real team.

We were ranked last in the ACC and now we're looking at a potential championship.

AND BASKETBALL IS FUN AGAIN.

sendek was ok w/ halftime adjustments, just not in-game adjustments

Think about this...I imagine in the halftime lockerroom Sid was yelling at the guys and really really being emotional and getting them fired up (maybe I'm completely wrong)...I also imagined in that situation Herb would try to tell them what to do in a very calm manner when intensity might be needed (again maybe i'm wrong)...but theres just a difference

making halftime adjustments and getting the teams fired up arent necessarily the same thing

and yes i remember state making 2nd half comebacks but they frequently fell apart b/c when the opposing coaches make adjusted to sendek's new technique, he was stuck b/c his plans were too complicated to fully install during a timeout
