I want to know if anyone has used Ubid.com to buy anything. I have found an item that I'm interested in buying off of their website, but have never heard of Ubid. Anyone have experience with them? Good site to use? Please let me know. Thanks!

i used it in highschool as well, but i dont think i ever actually bought anything. usually find better deals on ebay. it has been around forever though.

I just wasn't familiar with the ubid website at all. I don't think that I have ever been to their site. Anyway, I wanted to know about them because I'm looking for an item that ended up qualifying for free shipping, and a $10 off coupon since I was new to google checkout. So I just paid $65 (shipped) for an item that I found no cheaper than $86 shipped. The item normally retails for $119.99.

a friend of mine used it without issue. like i said, the deals dont seem to normally be as good as ebay and it just never caught on. it still is doing well enough to last this long though.
