I can't boot in safemode, it just sits there after I hit F8 and choose it. When I load windows in mormal mode everything loads but I cant click on the task bar, only the top of it's boarder is shown. I have a constant 97% cpu, and when I try to run System Restore through the command prompt I get an error that says
system restore is not able to protect your computer. plese restart your computer, and then run system restore again.

Im totaly lost here.

see if anyone has a Linux LiveCD -- boot from the CD, fire up a browser, and visit the TrendMicro Housecall website for an online virus scan
