Hello,

Got a girl who i go out with but its alas y the same thing, i want ot do something different. Usually its dinner or dinner and a movie. I know her really well, but I kinda want to do somethign to take her breath away.....Any ideas? I dont mind spending some $$$

by now you should know what she is interested in/likes doing... take that into consideration when deciding something new...

some generic ideas include: bowling, skating (ice), go to a park, baseball is starting up soon and durham bulls games are cheap and fun (they start in april), you can go back to either your place or her place and watch a movie or play video games or a boardgame or something (if either one of you feels comfortable with that)

there is a wide range of stuff to do...just gotta be creative and find out what she likes

Have a themed night of being up high/being swept off her feet. Start by heading to Chapel Hill. Go for ice cream at one of the several ice cream joints on franklin street in Chapel Hill/Carrboro and eat it while walking around exploring downtown. Go for a Planetarium showing… it’ll be all starry and romantic while continuing the theme. Then take her to Top of the Hill restaurant & brewery which has a nice view of the heart of downtown with all their balcony & window-side seating. And finish by taking her to a hotel room on one of the floors above the ground floor level, so that you don’t have to end the dream with a drive back, preferably one with a Jacuzzi.

Check out the schedule at Charlie Goodnights. They have a decent/slight romantic restaurant side, and you can get dinner plus a show deals. I've always had good results from taking a girl to a comedy show.
