Not counting any of us Galaxy people, there were 21. Pretty good for a last minute type deal. We might show the WV/NCSU game but it depends on the day and time. We'll also try and show at least the NCAA Final Four/Championship game.
We are airing the entire World Cup of Cricket. Tomorrow is India's first match and we are expecting a huge crowd. I gotta be there by 9ish. 3/16/2007 11:46:26 PM |

^the WVU game will be the 20th at either 7 or 9. If you are gonna do it for that game, you should announce it earlier and I would imagine you would get a full house.
I hope your kidding about a huge turnout for cricket. 3/16/2007 11:55:06 PM |

ha, not joking at all about cricket. we've had people coming in all week (it started tuesday) as early as 930 to watch the matches. If Pakistan and Inida meet in the next round its gonna be crazy.
^^The special showing of one of our indian movies was cancelled so the theatre was open tonight so it was a last minute thing. 3/17/2007 12:04:41 AM |

Next game should be on ESPN or ESPN2...no more U for the rest of the season.
Just curious, how did this look? Ive seen TV broadcasts in a movie theater before, and they leave a bit to be desired as far as picture quality....stretching that SD picture over that large of space, its not going to look good (still better than no TV though of course). 3/17/2007 1:16:04 AM |

I know he isn't be kidding about Cricket. While most of us in the US don't watch including me, Cricket is one of the most watched sports in the world. But of lack of availability and the large Indian/Pakistani population in our area I would bet Galaxy might have to turn away a lot of people or so if word gets out after seats fill up.3/17/2007 7:16:24 AM |
