relax, relax. there's a salvation army on tryon just east of s. wilmington street (almost or barely in garner); there's "american way" in gateway shopping center on crabtree blvd. and capital (behind the flea market mall); across crabtree blvd. from there is "cause for paws" thrift store. head north up wake forest road and go to north market square (old wake forest and wake forest/falls of neuse), where you'll find a goodwill store and "retails: a thrift store" right across the shopping center (blue awning). there is a goodwill store downtown just north of the gay district, one in north raleigh at six forks and strickland behind burger king, and one at raleigh grande up the hill from the theater. and if you want old cool stuff that may be overpriced, check out "father and son" on hargett street downtown. i could spend all day in there. hope that helps. oh, and there's another "cause for paws" location on s. saunders.
i'll think of more, but that should keep you busy for now.

American Way is one of my favorite thrift stores ...down peace st toward downtown, left onto capitol at the light, and then a right at a light where a big warehouse is that has wyeth(i think, it starts with a w)painted on it and its right there on your right. Not the best directions but you can see if off the road as you are coming down capitol.

Look up the goodwills in the area. The ones in Cary are pretty good.
I LOVE Father and Sons. You could kills hours wandering through that place. It's not always the cheapest, but it's by far one of the coolest. 3/18/2007 10:45:45 AM |
