We are showing the 3rd round match-up just like we did for NCSU/Marist. Admission is free. Come and join the excitement and see the game in one of our theatres.
We have a movie that lets out at 9pm so we will be starting the game as soon as the credits end.
NCSU at West Virginia on ESPN at 9pm on Tuesday at the Galaxy Cinema in Cary. 3/19/2007 3:32:30 PM |

somehow I doubt the legality of showing a game to a large group of people to boost concesion sales...
Didn't they stop churches from showing the superbowl... eh maybe nfl is different than NIT. 3/20/2007 11:15:48 AM |

yes it is different, we've had to ask about the ncaa, cricket world cup, soccer world cup, etc. 3/20/2007 11:19:31 AM |

^^uummm, isn't that what sports bars do? this is just a different venue with a MUCH bigger screen!

Yes, the NFL threatened to sue a church for showing the Super Bowl on a big screen. A friend of mine goes to that church, which is in suburban Indianapolis. You can't have a public event showing an NFL game on a screen larger than some set size (maybe 52", I forget), but there's an exception for sports bars. Putting hundreds of intoxicated people on the road after a game is okay, but a church having an alcohol-free party brings out the lawyers...go figure! 3/20/2007 12:39:46 PM |

Either way, make sure to come on out - the last game we showed had a nice turn out and we're not expecting any less! 3/20/2007 2:44:03 PM |
