Just ask. I got all of my finals moved in december without a glitch. ( I had to start an internship in disneyworld on the 13th). 3/25/2007 9:09:06 PM |

Most professors will work with you if you have a valid reason, but some departments have rules against it. 3/26/2007 1:15:46 PM |

This far in advance, you'll probably have some luck. Just make sure to get it in writing. 3/26/2007 4:20:38 PM |

I have profs move finals back but some of them are very hesitant to move them up. Worried you'll give out all the answers to your friends I guess. Plus some don't have the final ready until the day of. 3/26/2007 4:33:23 PM |

Good luck most hate doing that shit because they assume you will give the questions away (not to mention it's a huge waste of time for us). Does he/she teach another exact section at a different time (if so many will let you take it with the other section if it's earlier).
If the professor or grad student (depending on course) is chill and finds you trustworthy they probably will work with you (especially if it's for an intern or job, maybe not so much if it's I want to get out earlier because you have just one exam late in the exam period). 3/26/2007 9:03:52 PM |

I'll do it, provided its not super early. What I will not do is let people take it late cause that is a real pain. Its not a big deal to make two tests, anyway I just put homework on tests for the most part so if they study it shouldn't be surprising. Guess it depends on how much the prof. likes to maintain a mystery about what's on the test.
