I need a steam table in digital format and I'm having trouble locating one with the exact info I need. Basically I need the properties of subcooled liquid water at 2250 psi over a range of temperatures from 400 F to 652.744 F (saturation temperature). The properties I need are: Heat capacity at specific volume (Cp), Thermal conductivity (K), Viscosity (mu), and Density or specific volume (rho or v). I don't need anything else (h, Cv, u, e, s not necessary).

I know there are fluid porperty calculators online I can use to make a table. I have one of those. Problem is it would take me all day to make the table using a calculator. There are a lot of plugins for Excel and other tools that add steam table functions (one of which is SteamTab -- they have it at Progress Energy), but they aren't free. Does anyone have access to one of these tools at school or work that they can make my table with?

It doesn't matter if it's ASME-67, IAPWS-95, or IAPWS-97 steam tables as long as I know what the source is.

Hell, if someone has a copy of the ASME publication from 1967 with the spline data in it I'll write the calculator myself.

there's a free TI-89 application that includes a steam table (it aligns fairly closely with the tables in the Boles' thermo text). i'm not sure if that's something you'd want to use.

I cant help you out with a digital one but if you ever get to the point when you need an actual steam table I have a few. We use the shits all the time in nuc.

I don't really have anythign to contribute to the main topic but I have something funny about myself and steam tables. I'm an application/sales engineer for a control valve company and on my 3rd week, I was sizing a valve for a steam application. The guy didn't give me the temperature so called him back and was like what's the temp of the steam. His response was "why don't you look it up in a table?". I said "what table?" His immediate response was "oh shit. can you get someone else to help me?"

my boss laughed his ass off and then proceeded to bash my ECE degree. Needless to say me and the steam tables haven't gotten very familar with each other

I had to install a steam regulator a couple days ago. I think the diaphragm blew in the old one cause there was a 6 ft stream of steam shooting out of it.
