Let Barry Bonds have the record and leave the man alone about the drugs. If he has indeed been taking them (as it appears by the principle of duh.) then he has sacrificed his body for MLB, what could be more noble? I mean all these other players want to live long healthy lives and play ball, but folks on the roids pretty much guarantee an early death. That's sacrifice.

People cursed at, spit on, and threw things at Roger Maris in '61 when he threatened Babe's record. Why? Because they felt it was Mickey Mantle's birthright to break that record. If he didn't do it, they didn't want anyone to do it. Aaron got a lote of hate mail but I bet that the in-stadium reactions were worse for Maris..
