Is it fake? In the first picture there is no shattered glass on the windshield, but in the third picture looking through the door the windshield is covered in glass

i'm wondering if that haas something to so with how they get in the car- it could also just be a cover that they put over it, because the side windows are the same too

^^^^

maseratis are consistently ranked as some of the most beautiful cars out there. and their interiors are PURE SEX.

here is the new 2008 Maserati GranTurismo, released at the geneva show a month or so back.

4.2 litre V8
405 hp

that grill totally harks back to the maseratis from the 50s and 60s.

This is what Darth Vader would drive.

Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S

http://www.worldcarfans.com/9070828.008/maserati-quattroporte-sport-gt-s-world-premiere-in-frankfurt
http://www.autoblog.com/2007/08/28/frankfurt-preview-maserati-to-unveil-quattroporte-sport-gt-s/

Basically everything is black.

Quote :
"The new Quattroporte Sport GT S will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motorshow for its worldwide preview. The Quattroporte Sport GT S is the ultimate expression of Maserati’s saloon sportiness.

Starting with the suspension, the Sport GT S gets a new “racing” setup which includes stiffer springs and shock absorbers resulting in a 10mm lower ride height in the front and 25mm in the rear. In collaboration with famous brake manufacturer, Brembo, the Sport GT S receives special dual-cast brake rotors which is a road car first. Instead of a typical solid cast-iron rotor, the dual-cast rotors receive a blend of iron and aluminum which improve heat resistance and reduce brake fade. Additionally, Brembo's six piston calipers and 20” dark-chrome 7 spoke wheels wrapped in specially developed sport compound tires (front 245/35-R20 and rear 295/30-R20) are sure to transform driving dynamics in a vehicle that is known for its suppleness.

For an aggressive look, the exterior receives a splash of black seen in the black-chrome mesh grille, black window surround trim and black dual exhaust pipes in addition to matching body color black door handles.

On the inside, the sportiness continues with Alcantara inserted into the seats, door panels and steering wheel while the dashboard gets carbon fiber and aluminum treatments as well. Finally, the front seats get a sportier shape."

Quote :
"Even the choice of material for the interior of the Quattroporte Sport GT S reflects the car's sporty character. Traditional Poltrona Frau leather has been combined with Alcantara, which covers the central zone of the seats, the interior door panels and the steering wheel. Maserati has previously used Alcantara for the interior of the Trofeo cars and the MC12.

The dashboard is finished in new carbon fibre with aluminium treads, whilst front seats are characterised by a new, more cosseting sporty shape."

You guys hash it out elsewhere. I f'n loooove a Maserati. There's one at just about every stop light down here.

The design, the sound, the performance...sign me up (when a rich uncle kicks the bucket)

There's 2 Maseratis, 1 Ferrari, and a Porsche beside one of the boats I take care of. You just know they love seeing the ol' Super Saab rolling in to the hood.

I'm pretty sure I got behind one of these on 70 yesterday afternoon, except it was metallic blue. I didn't get a good look at the rest of the car, but the rear end looked just like this.

I like the bright red brakes on the 4 door. It's like, "Yeah, these come in handy sometimes"

Maserati GranTurismo S

The sexiest Maserati sportscar/GT ever [?]. A sportier version of the GranTurismo (see pictures in middle of thread).

4.7 litre V8
440 hp

As opposed to 4.2 litres producing 405 hp in the non-S original.

I valet'd at southpoint mall and got to drive one, I was absolutely blown away with the interior, and from seeing pictures I DIDN'T REALLY LIKE THE EXTERIOR, but seeing them in person is really a different story (breathtaking)...that being said...I'd rather drive an aston...

Longest car name?

Carrozzeria Touring Bellagio Fastback

I don't know what the official name is, as another website says:

Carrozzeria Touring Maserati Quattroporte Bellagio Fastback, but I suspect it is the former.

Quote :
"The Masserati Quattroporte is already a stunning vehicle with a powerful and elegent presence. Milan based coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring has taken the design a step further with a wagon version called, the Bellagio Fastback."

And here is another Maserati Quattroporte based station wagon:

Cinqueporte

[neat name, huh?!]

Quote :
"According to the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, Maserati does not want this new car to be named a Maserati. Pity, since the Cinqueporte, a project from StudioM and Studio Torino, the creator of the Ruf RK Coupé, is just gorgeous and would not be possible if it was not for the Quattroporte.

The car has not been created so far. These images, as some may have already perceived, are based on 1:4 scale model of Quattroporte?s shooting brake. Anyway, it will turn into a real car, whose owner is already waiting for it. The Arab customer, whose name has not been disclosed, has already bought other shooting brakes based on Ferrari models to use them exactly for the purpose they have been created for: hunting. In this specific case, in the desert."

No and no.

Looks like that vehicle wrap companies use to cover a vehicle with advertisements to me. Just with a plaid print instead of a tacky advertisement.

Doesn't look too hot IMO. Maybe it would have been cool if he just did the hood on a white car or something.
