I think I will be crying the most when it comes time to put House to rest.

But then again a show like The West Wing was so amazingly kick ass for the first four seasons and then went all to hell to where I refuse to own seasons 6 & 7. So it is possible for shows to putter out.

Yeah, but seasons 6 and 7 are infinitely better than season 5. I've got all seven. Season 7 is actually pretty damn good. I'd recommend getting 6 and 7.

Well, I liked season 7 a lot more than season 5. Seasons 1 and 2 are my favorites, obviously, but I didn't think 7 was as bad as five. And after having watched season 5, seasons 6 and 7 look awesome.

The article said that 30 Rock was quite safe barring some crazy scandal. Maybe because the show didn't reach some threshold of viewship earned it a place on that list. Same with Friday Night Lights and Scrubs; these two shows were also with 30 Rock in the "Safe" category.

30 Rock and Scrubs are already confirmed for another season (2 for Scrubs I believe). I can't believe they'd think about canceling How I Met Your Mother!?!?

Friday Night Lights is a badass show. I look forward to that every Wednesday night.

How I Met Your Mother has been a disappointment this season. Nothing is nearly as funny as last season. The show that talks about the pineapple incident from season 1 was funny as shit. However, I would like the show to stay around long enough to find out how Ted meets his wife.

Tuesday would compete with idol yes, but I still think it'd do well. I'd sure watch it over Idol. And there's nothing on wednesdays then so it could definetly do well I think. It may start to pick up in it's current slot though, since Prison Break has ended & 24 is going to shit.

30 Rock has already been renewed.
NBC is not going to cancel Medium if its getting an 8.7 against Lost and a CSI clone at 10PM.
The Nine is dead, even if ABC hasnt announced it...its been off the air since November, its not coming back. Six Degrees is dead too.
Also, The Black Donnellys got put on hiatus this week...surprised its not on the list.

As far as the quality of the shows on that list, 30 Rock, How I Met Your Mother, Medium, Scrubs, and Veronica Mars are all quality shows, even if some of those arent to the level they once were.
