It's a GE 32gt740 32" CRT TV.
Apparently there is a problem with the power supply or flyback transformer. When you turn it on it does nothing but make this clicking noise every few seconds.
I'm hoping there's someone out there who knows their way around electronics and can give it a shot. I found a pretty extensive tv repair guide online, but if I try anything I'm just going to shock the hell out of myself.
Thanks in advance.

I think I heard the average TV even after being unplugged for 4 days will still have enough electricity to kill you. 4/6/2007 9:01:08 AM |

^ once upon a time, before i was born, my dad picked up the bare tube off his couch, to take to a repair shop or sum'n - anyways, it blew him across the room. when they took the tube to a repair shop, the guy used a big ass screwdriver looking thing to takethe rest of the electricity out of it - dad said there was still a shitload left even then! 4/6/2007 4:29:14 PM |
