THE DEFENDING SOUTHERN DIVISION CHAMPION (suck it Durham, Richmond and Norfolk) CHARLOTTE KNIGHTS GO FOR ANOTHER GREAT SEASON
They did lose their season opener last night to Pawtuckett
A few notes:
2007 SCHEDULE: http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/schedule/index.jsp?sid=t494 Ticket Prices: Field Box - $12 ; Lower Level - $10 ; General Admission - $7 (wtf it was 6 last year)
Daily Specials:
Sundays - Kids run the bases after the game sponsored by Discovery Place (care?) Tuesdays - Visit Jiffy Lube for an oil change and get 2 FREE tickets (not bad) Wednesdays - Buy one ticket, get one FREE with your Harris Teeter VIC Card (not bad) Thursdays - Thirsty Thursday with $2 beers (hi-life and pabst lol) & $1 sodas presented by Hooters (HIGH FIVE!) Fridays - Great giveaways all season from TimeWarner Cable (some throughout season include magnet schedules, umbrellas, etc) Saturdays - Fireworks by Bank of America: Official Bank of Minor League Baseball, the Charlotte Observer, WBT, & Time Warner Cable
ok I just copied that stuff from the pocket schedule but anyway if you happen to live in the Charlotte area its really not that far...just hop on 77 South to exit 88 (Gold Hill Road) and turn left at the top of the on-ramp...thats it!

I've been to games for the Tides, Braves, and Bulls, but never the Knights, but since I'm from the area it's kinda hard to root against any of the 4. 4/6/2007 3:51:36 PM |

If we get a downtown park I'm there 2-3 nights a week
they should make the outfield open to the skyline like the Indianapolis AAA park
