We were on tryon rd turning left on to Gorman. I was in a red and primer mazda pickup with no grill or badges. You turned right at the exxon and i pulled a U-turn to go back to 40.

that is the purpose of this thread. i wanted to know if the cobra guy was a little surprised that i stayed with him. Also wanted to ask if he was flooring it or just playing.


i've got the v8 in with a mild cam and a 3.89 posi. I've found that my posi is no longer locking up like it should and my throttle cable can only open 2 or the 4 butterflys on the carb, so there is more speed to be had if i had time and money to put in to it.

move the cable end closer to the throttle shaft to get it wide open, cheap and easy

^^ yeah, that was my plan, but the cable is also stiff because of the sharp curve between the firewall and the throttle, so i was thinking about rigging up a shaft with a short pull on one end and a long pull on the other. I'll figure it out eventually.

i raced a turbo or something cadillac cts-v. shit was modded. had a 45 year old dude in it with his wife. i didnt pull past him till i snicked into 3rd gear. twas a good race

had some wide as tires and nice ass after market exhaust. ever shift i swear i heard a bov. but no idea it sounded MEAN.
