when I try to run excel it goes to an install page that looks for the file proplus.msi. I dont have the disk an apparently don't have the file either. word works fine. any ideas where I can get this file? office xp.

evidently you didn't read through the results google gave you.

there are a number of ways to fix this...what have you tried so far?

really? you are behind me to know what i "evidently" have or have not read through?

I've tried to detect and repair but it needs the cd. I can open excel if when the error box is open I click the shortcut. Got the idea from one of the websites under the google search. If there is no place to simply download proplus.msi from then what other options do I really have. Not counting downloading office XP off a torrent.
