My wife and I have a newborn who has bad allergies to our 2 labs. THey are both full blooded labs, but fixed. Female (black) will be 5 in August and Male (yellow) will be 3 in October. They both really good dogs, we just can't keep them since our little on has allergies to them. With them comes plenty of frontline and interceptor, whatever dog food they have left, bowls, beds, etc. They are indoor and outdoor dogs. They don't sleep outside and we are not willing to allow them to sleep outside.
Please let me know if you are interested...I have pics but not sure how to upload them. 4/12/2007 6:36:51 PM |

Good luck finding them loving homes. I'd try putting them up on petfinder as well if you haven't already. I wouldn't bother with craigslist because you might get some real weirdoes. 4/12/2007 7:42:47 PM |

I was wondering how much you were wanting for either of the labs? I currently have a yellow lab female. 4/15/2007 9:37:38 PM |

^ yea we are along with a waiting list
but Lee pm me with your email and we'll probably list them as a curtesy listing. which means while we can't take them as fosters we will put up pictures and details about them along with your contact information.
or try second chance pet adoption, IAR, etc...
Craigslist is an option. Purebred UTD dogs find homes fast on there. I've had a lot of luck finding homes for my fosters (dozen emails for every puppy i've posted) on there but you have to screen them. Just do a home visit, ask a lot of questions, call for vet records if they've had/have other pets, etc.. I've come across some crazy people. like the one today that didn't have teeth and lived in a should be condemed house and wanted to keep a puppy in a box...amazingly she came across fine on emails and on the phone. thank goodness i did a home visit 4/15/2007 10:02:26 PM |

queue freak dog lovers saying how this person is irresponsible for getting dogs and then not wanting to take care of them later on. 4/15/2007 10:03:03 PM |

no shit. those are my favorites along with the backyard breeders who breed mutts and ask for a $300 "adoption" fee for an unvaccinated puppy 4/15/2007 10:05:55 PM |
