As a tech lead in Cisco TAC, I don't believe that you could have gotten an offer and not know the pay range or the work environment. Both are very explicitly disclosed throughout the interview process.

If you did somehow get an offer and you don't know this, please turn it down. You won't last a month here.

What team ?? When do you start?

If you just got an offer, why do you need to know the pay range? Im sure there are engineers making 140k and probably some making 40k too....

Cant say for sure though. All I know is my offer last year was higher than all my friends in CPE/EE and the extra pay on top of the base is phenomenal. Many of them were going to boston/DC even, so I was pretty happy with the pay side of things.

Dont come if you just want to sit around though, because pay is always performance based, so you my never ever get a raise unless you are a top performer, as it should be.

guys. stop being pricks. the range they gave me was 65-75K. and bobbydigital, you shouldn't be so negative i've worked in NOCS before and I'm pretty excellent. don't judge my professionalism and technical abilities by what you see on tww (a website for fun and leisure).

Why would you ask about the pay then? From what I have seen no one is supposed to know what each other makes.

Each team is also very different, if you dumped which one then you might be a better response.
