I just bought a 2WD '69 shortwide C10 truck. Its a project truck that i plan on restoring.
I know its not for everyone, but i've laways wanted one and finally found the right one.
I'm all over http://www.lmctruck.com, but any other ideas, advice, or places/websites you guys know of to find parts for this style truck would be appreciated.
I'm looking to make it a classy restoration; but low to the ground and modern looking.
I know pretty much what i want and what i'm going to do but any input would be great. 4/20/2007 2:06:40 AM |

buy a 5.3 / 6.0 out of any 99 and up GM truck, they're cheap less than $1000, get a wiring harness from http://www.wait4meperformance.com/, run a 700r4 tranny. You'll have a cheap, powerful, reliable, and even somewhat economical powertrain for not much cash.
I almost bought a 69 GMC stepside a few weeks ago and had my powertrain all planned out. 4/20/2007 9:31:08 AM |
