heh, good thing I found this civic...

I was, as a friend put it, being a stupid 16 year old kid and I totalled my RSX-S. Fortunately I had a 3 year loan so I was even on value with what I owed and the insurance money paid it off completely. This worked out because: the body shop (assholes) took 10 weeks before they started on the repairs, then added an additional $5k to the estimate for the insurance, meanwhile the car had lost $2k on value since it arrived... And my rental coverage had lapsed... so all in all they decided (THANK GOD!) to total it...

So here's the selling my soul part... I bought a 2001 civic EX sedan 5sp out of pocket...

I've owned a 96 accord, 2001 f150 5.4L, 2002 A4 quattro, 2006 RSX-S, and now... a fricken Civic...

side notes:

theres a gently broken in RSX-S engine with 7600miles on it, sitting in a scrap yard somewhere...

don't EVER buy VIN JH4DC53016S021470 RSX-S b/c most likely somebody will put it back together...

yeah, what I meant by stating the cars I've had...

the accord was my HS car... I traded that in on a Truck to tow my boat, while it wasn't a 250/350 it still was a beast of a vehicle that got 13mpg... to compliment the truck for a daily driver I found the audi A4... my personal favorite of all vehicles I've had. Unfortunately maintinance on Audi's is rediculous so I decided to part with it before I became financially sapped by it. I also had moved to MD and sold my boat so I didn't need the truck. So the only thing in the price range that was worth buying was either the Si or an RSX-S... Si's were impossible to find so I got the -S... RSX-S I never really loved, I really loved the Audi... but the -S was on the slow edge of fast and it ended up getting me into trouble...

So each vehicle had a reason, I loved the a4 more than any... perhaps I should have kept it... but alas... I now drive a civic

and I'm figuring that its 6 years old and a 5sp... so it probably has another 14 in it...

the truck was a 1/2ton truck... it was big... for me personally I liked it. I could drive over curbs and not think twice about it...

the audi was just a nice ass car that handled phenominally and had ever feature known to man... it was slow... but I bought it because it was nice, and i got AWD because I wanted to be able to get around in inclement weather in MD...

The RSX-S was a fairly cool car, but even the day I bought it I was looking at TSX's and wondering if I should have just gotten one of those...

but I mean, now... a civic... but I expect it'll be a good car that'll last for ever...
I just never figured I'd personally own one...
