Why does that trailer leave a nagging feeling that they butched the book? I just reread Order to refresh my memory of it, and the DA isn't the main plot, however I can see how most everything revolves Harry's rebellion against everyone else.

So maybe i'm just crazy then

^You're probably right. I haven't seen said trailer, but if they revolved the book more about the DA I cant say I blame them. Having a 2.5 hr movie revolve around the dreams that Harry keeps experiencing would be grueling.

The only thing that matters to me as far as the movie is concerned is how well Imelda Staunton plays Umbridge.

Thats the exact thing I thought the whole first time I read it. It kinda dampened my enthusiasm about the book. Upon reading it a second time, I expected it so it wasnt as bothersome and I enjoyed the book much more.

Just from watching the trailer, it doesn't make sense to me that they are going to take the random word of some stuck-up bitch that Voldemort hasn't returned over Harry and Dumbledore and everyone else. There's probably an explanation of why no one believes them, but from seeing all the other movies, and reading the first book, I can't imagine it will be something too deep.

But, special effects wise, it does look very entertaining.

Just finished reading the 5th book finally (yes, yes, I know I am waaaaay behind the times) and at first I was totally hyped about the trailor and then I read the end concerning my favorite character, Sirius. Now I am pissed off to a point where I am not even sure when or if I am going to start reading the next book let along watch it happen in the theatre!

all of the actors playing teachers in Harry Potter are a lot older than they first appear...
