Let's see... TV and cable go out when it rains, the management company changes every year, they change the way you can pay rent all the time (no CASH or CREDIT CARDS or online payment with this new management company).

They charged me a late fee when I couldn't pay online on the 5th (rent is late on the 6th) because they switched management companies without telling us (I used to be able to, and did, pay online). They expected me to have seen a flyer they stuck in the door explaining the change, but one of my three other roommates probably discarded it.

They moved 2 different people into our apartment without even telling us. My bedroom door was unlocked that day, and some thug was in my living room when I got home. He ended up smoking weed all day every day and it took forever for management to let us kick him out.

They will tell you (after the fact) that this is in your lease agreement--the downside of individual leases. Maybe you should find someone to fill the empty room to avoid this.

I am on my second year living there and am living there for a third year. My biggest problem is the loud campus crusaders that live in my building throwing water balloons etc.

As far as maintenance and everything goes, this weekend our stove element freaked out and burned out and our kitchen fluorescent light went out. I went up to the office at 11:45am, they knocked on my door to fix it at 12:30pm. They fixed the stove then, put new lights in the fluorescent but it ended up needing a new transformer so they told me they would be back this morning to fix it, and they had it fixed by 10am this morning.

Most college kids dont know how to take care of their bills, pay rent late then bitch about charges, and blame the complex. I know it isnt perfect but what complex is perfect around here? The management has gotten better since it switched owners. I had some problems with the management before but none now.

Ohh yeah...

I hate the monthly inspections shit that they do. However, they are pretty quick about maintenance problems and what not. However, they need to do better with cleaning around the apartments. I know that this is spring and there is going to be a lot of pollen, but the least they could do is spray the hallways once a week.

Also, they check your car's inspection sticker and registration stickers, and if they aren't up to date, they put a notice on your car. If you don't get it fixed by the date on the notice, they tow you; it's evidentally in our lease.

The bus is terrible, buy a campus parking pass!!! The drivers are rude, inconsiderate, and thuggish! They only listen to rap music. They have left me on campus twice, even though I was running beside the bus, banging on the side of it. The bus only runs every 30 mins, and you better not be a minute late.

All in All, not a bad place to live for $400 (including everything)

{Edit} Ohh yeah, there is no security what so ever. My truck got broken into in the middle of the night right outside of my apartment. Wolf Creek did nothing, not that I expected them to.

You never, ever, ever put a basketball court at your apartment complex.


At first they just show up to play.


But eventually they show up to live.


This scares the white people out of the complex and you are left with unreliable tenants with poor credit and payment history.

Bullshit. I don't think we can really make a conclusion on the "messiness/loudness," but we can examine the partying habits of college students by race. Statistics show that white college students consume far more drugs and alcohol than their black peers. To me, that hints at the idea that they are probably rowdier and messier, as well.

And if you are trying to connect drug consumption to rowdiness, think about the drug statistics and then think about the percentage of that statistic that is weed. Now think about what most people do after smoking weed...they chill, not behave rowdily.

And you came back with "Yes they are!!!" And you never attempted any disclaimer. You said black college students are worse (rowdier/filthier) than white college students and launched into your personal experience with one black college student and talked about how he slept in the living room because his room was so filthy. Well, guess where my white ass sleeps--in my living room cause my room is filled with beer cans and dirty laundry. So, in the battle of anecdotal evidence, looks like we're tied, which is probably about right.

As far as your argument about marijuana and whatnot, recheck that shit. White college students smoke more weed, drive drunk more, do more "other drugs," drink more, do more cocaine, combine drugs more, etc... You can ignore that information if you please, but I still believe it pertains to a discussion about rowdiness in college students. Either way, it doesn't matter. Because you're the one who has to prove to me this "Yes they are!!!" bullshit about black students being filthier/rowdier than white college students.

Actually, I just proved that your argument has an extreme flaw. You can't prove a causal link, therefore you have no argument. My argument, which by the way, I did disclaim at the beginning, is just a proof of the flaw that your argument contains. Think about it

1. You stated something
2. I disagreed, and provided personal experience
3. You stated evidence to support your claim
4. I displayed the flaw in your argument (i.e. the lack of a causal link)
5. You twist my words and try to disprove my dissent. I stated that most of the drug statistics are filled with marijuana citations. I also stated that marijuana users typically are chill and not rowdy. You twisted this by implying that I said that whites use marijuana more than any other drug, and that blacks were the opposite. I DID NOT SAY THIS! I SIMPLY SAID THAT MARIJUANA IS THE CITATION/ARREST MOST LIKELY GIVEN OUT.

Because as you can see here, marijuana the most cited/arrested for drug.

Quit twisting my words and listen to my argument. My argument is a simple proof that yours is invalid. It is invalid because you have no proof of it. I first started by trying to show a simple example about how your argument was wrong. Then you gave statistics about this, that, and the other, which were all useless, because there is no link between your given statistics and the argument at hand. THERFORE, I AM SAYING THIS: YOUR ARGUMENT ABOUT HOW BLACK COLLEGE STUDENTS ARE LESS FILTHY/ROWDY HAS NO FOUNDATION. I ACTUALLY HAVE PERSONAL EXPERIENCE CONTRARY TO YOUR ARGUMENT. I see what you're saying about how the data on partying doesn't necessarily apply. But from the very beginning, I said that I didn't know of any data that we could draw conclusions on. Are you familiar with data on the filthiness/rowdiness of college students by race?

However, I still stand by my introduction of the partying data into this thread because I believe it does give us insight into rowdiness. I've yet to actually say that I think white college students are rowdier and filthier, by the way.

Feel free to continue to attack what you perceive to be a poor argument. At least I'm not the douche bag making assumptions about an entire group of people based on a single experience.

I cannot believe you think black college students are filthier and rowdier than white college students.
