The company I am working with this summer is looking to hire one more person for their Pool Technician position. Approx 40-45 hours/wk. Having previous pool experience and CPO certification is helpful, but not necessarily required. Contact info is listed below, so if you're in the market for a summer job give them a call!

yeah list a little more about the description and the pay
are you looking for a pool maintenance hand, for example, or a construction supervisor.
I REALLY like this, by the way: http://candlerpoolsandspas.com/Construction/default/construction141.html 4/26/2007 9:34:25 AM |

hey what type of rocks are those-- did you guys make those out of concrete? Or are they real-- and you shipped them in?
Very nice work if you custom-molded them on site. I would like to hear about them, though. 4/26/2007 9:36:14 AM |

They're mostly looking for a pool maintenance hand servicing their commercial facilities in the Triangle. Since I just started about 2.5 weeks ago, I'm not entirely sure what the job will entail. I do know that each pool tech. typically has 4 pools of their own. Start work around 6am, clean your 4 pools & check pool chemistry (pH, chlorine, alkalinity, calcium hardness, etc.) 3 times throughout the course of the day (checks must be 4 hours apart per Wake Cty regulations).
Pay isn't set... when you apply you designate an amount you would like to be paid and they give you an offer, hence why I didn't include it in the original description.
Also, I'm not sure about the rock formations, but I'll try to ask and post later.
** You would probably work 1-2 Saturdays a month and no Sundays... Season begins really soon (pools opening anywhere from mid to late May and staying open until approx mid Sept)

They do pay for gas... usually you get a company vehicle. And many people there have company cell phones, so if that were an issue... definitely a possibility.
^No. Not at all, actually. Just a job that surfaced in my quest to find new employment. 4/27/2007 3:30:20 PM |
