this is the best line-up (imo) ive seen of any festival so far this year, and its about 10 minutes from me, so im probably going to go despite the price.

i just spent almost $400 on disco biscuits tickets though.

Holy crap, day 2 looks incredible. That's very much worth $100 to see all of those bands in one day. Pumpkins + Wu Tang + Bad Brains would be worth it alone.

I do believe I will be going. I've been saying that I wanted to buy something for myself wuith the commission I make of these next few orders. I was thinking along the lines of a nice purse or shoes, but this sounds so much better. plus, i have a good friend that lives in Baltimore and I can stay with her.

anyone have any idea how long each band/artist's sets will be? and if there will be multiple stages?

21 artists on day 1, 19 artists on day 2....the gates open at 10am and they close at 10pm

that gives 12 hours a day if they start playing right at 10am....add in at least 15-20 minutes to set up between bands

If there is only one stage then something doesnt add up, if they have two stages that would make more sense, but still wouldnt give a whole lot of time for each band to perform

The organizers said they wanted to avoid it but it was the only weekend they could land The Police, so they didn't want to pass that up.

they had more that one stage last year.

....i wasnt there, but my friends that went i believe said there were two big stages, and then a smaller tent set-up for all the DJs and smaller bands.

while cost can definately been an issue, ive heard that this is one of the best run festivals around. extremely professional, well set-up, and very well organized. people that go to festivals a lot can attest that this isnt always the case with so many bands and people in the same place at the same time.

I really don't think the price is that bad for the quality and diversity of bands playing this festival. Especially if what is said is true and it is very well managed. That alone is worth some extra cash. If you've ever been to Warped Tour you'll know what I mean.

Agreed; hell of a good show. Pumpkins, Police, Beasties, Interpol were all awesome. A+, Would Buy Again!!!

Only complaint is that they scheduled Modest Mouse at the same time as The Police. Kinda wanted to see them, but definitely wasn't worth missing Police's show.
