I have a GT Avalanche 3.0 with a U-bolt lock and a bike pump to go along with it. I'll deliver it to you for $150. Let me know if you want pictures. 5/3/2007 8:14:57 PM |

what you are looking for does not exist, i'd give up if i were you on the whole full suspension idea. first of all, its unnecessary for riding around campus, and the components you get on a full suspension bike are shit in comparison to what you'd get if you had a front suspension or rigid bike, given you spend the same amount of money.
you'll only find a cheap good full suspension bike if the person selling it is a complete retard, likes you enough to give it to you that cheap, or has way too much money to care about loosing it 5/3/2007 10:13:53 PM |

Don't you wish you would have saved your money for something useful, like a bike, instead of something you don't need, like a gun. 5/3/2007 10:17:22 PM |

i can sell any gun i have for more than i have in it. not a bad investment huh? also i have a job so it's not like i'm scraping together to buy anything, i only buy what i can afford and if it's priced well.
[Edited on May 3, 2007 at 10:25 PM. Reason : ^^ also i found a mongoose full suspension for $75 i'll prolly be gettin that soon] 5/3/2007 10:24:14 PM |

What are you going to be using it for. Full suspension probably isn't your best bet. 5/3/2007 10:41:23 PM |

you could get a decent one at Dick's (probably diamondback), but it'll be around $200-$300, maybe more. If you are a bigger dude, you'd be better off investing a little more in a bike with higher quality parts.
look for hard-tail models from trek, specialized, GT, and on the lower end Diamondback. 5/3/2007 10:51:32 PM |

Yea, you wont get shit for less than $150. A decent hardtail will run you atleast 200 and thats a base model. Check ebay, you can get some pretty sweet bikes cheap. I got a Specialized that has all high end components that someone built for like $300 shipped. 5/3/2007 11:36:43 PM |

the GT I offered has an oversized lower tube and should hold up fairly well to a larger framed person. I forgot to check the frame dimensions on it, but I think it's a 54-56. I switched to a road bike since every mile I logged on that bike was on paved surfaces anyway.
If you can pick it up, I'll drop the price to $125. 5/4/2007 12:06:29 AM |

^^ Your GT should be sized using a "S, M, L, XL" scale. Look on tube that the seatpost goes in (between the top tube and the bottom bracket) and you'll probably see a sticker telling you what size it is. 5/4/2007 12:20:18 AM |

dont buy the $75 mongoose, those arent really built to take on trails and you are basically pissing the money away, they are kids toys 5/4/2007 12:53:10 PM |

The $50 you save by buying the Mongoose will probably be gone the first few times you take it on a trail and end up with bent rims, broken handlebars, etc. He has a very good price on that GT. I'm tempted to pick it up for my girlfriend and other guests to use when they come to my house. 5/4/2007 1:59:34 PM |

I think I'm going to put this bike on craigslist and see what I can get for it. It's a good bike, but I prefer road riding so much more that I doubt I'll ever get back on it. 5/4/2007 5:52:06 PM |
