Anyway to raise the power on this access point via alternative firmware or something similar? Trying to get away with not buying another one since this one almost has enough power to cover everywhere it needs to...

I also thought about getting a different antenna for it, any suggestions? I would definitely need something omni directional

They can run either VxWorks if you've got one shipped with it, or Cisco IOS. If it's running VxWorks, it can be converted to IOS, but if it's running IOS, it can't be converted back to VxWorks.

You can definitely get other antennas for it, but I don't know much about what's out there.

Thanks, I think we're just going to order one more so we won't have any issues trying to push this one and it should be a more reliable solution anyways...
