Anywho: how's the view from the Lawn area? Are the displays fairly big from there? I'm thinking a lawn seat would beat a back row in the reserved section.

Next: can I bring my own chair? It'd be one of those chairs-in-a-bag things sold at Wal-Mart and places.

Their website should have information on what you're allowed to bring.

As for the screens, yeah, they're pretty big. The only thing is that you can can only watch what they're showing you at the moment as opposed to being able to see the whole stage.

I typically just get lawn seats there.

the view in lawn sucks and the back row of the seats is elevated about 7 feet higher than the front of the lawn.

i personally love the lawn seats and get them every time because they are cheap and you can dance with the random chicks.

i got front row for staind last year, that whole rock day they had and it was amazingggggg

all the other times i have had lawn and thats fun if you are with a big group or just wanna be there for the party, but if its just you or a small group...then def go for the seats as its an amazingggg view.

I got to be front row dead center and watch Aaron Lewis flick me off during comfortably numb, pretty great.

yeah, the very front of the lawn kind of sucks.

We'd usually always sit around the middle/back of the lawn, because that was close to the stairs to go get beer.

me and my bud had seats to a Phish concert there one year, and we wound up going out in the lawn anyhow for most of the show.

i always liked the lawn better anyhow.

Unless you're in the gold circle right down by the stage, the view in the lawn is just as bad/good as the view in most of the reserved seating, and you've got more room to dance/drink/make out/whatever. The sound sucks everywhere at an outdoor show, and the lawn is cheaper and more fun, so go with that.

Don't bring the bag chair (you'll fall down the hill). You can get a chair there or you can bring a low profile beach chair.
