For some reason within the past few days, something happened to cause the DVD player on my computer to play movies slowly. They aren't unwatchable but they are just choppy. I usually play DVDs with Cyberlink PowerDVD and it has never given me any trouble. I tried playing with Windows Media Player and VLC player, and they both give the same result so it isn't a software issue. I just ran a spyware and virus check, nothing. I have closed just about every non-essential background application, so I don't think it is a memory issue. All other applications on my computer are running perfectly fine, and if I try and run software or a game from the DVD drive it runs fine. Any ideas?
