I absolutely abhor this shit. I suppose you all think the goddamn things are all built alike, and a $60k Mercedes has the same pieces and parts as a goddamn '73 Pinto, and they were all designed by the same little short fucker in a shoe-shop on the south side of Detroit.

since you've pointed it out, I might as well come up with a q, just to get in the habit.

gf needs new tires for her:1999 Mazda MX-5 Miata, 5sp manual.

90% sure she has the 14 inch wheels (her manual said (P)185/60R14 (82H)) and not the larger
15 (195/50R15) inchers that were optional that year and standard from 2000 onward.

-only drives 2 miles back and forth to work during the week
-drives to Charlotte 2x/mo max, otherwise, no hwy driving.
-follows cars more closely and doesn't brake much for turns
(want her to have more grip, better braking, esp in rain, she accidentally gave me an unanticipated
drifting lesson last time I was in town. It would have been impressive and maybe even a little hot if
she had meant to do it. )

However, given that it probably takes her 2 years to put 15k on her car, I don't want her driving
around on ultra high-performance summer tires in the winter or rain...

Tire rack had such a huge selection, I thought I might run it by TWW to see what y'all think would
be perfect. (I tried to format it so it wasn't too long. there's 17 or 18 tires) here's the link:
