Okay, so this is kind of strange. My awesome dog, Buckley, started limping for about two minutes about three days ago. Like, he was running around, being a normal dog, then he lifted up his back right paw and was walking without using it for less than two minutes. Then he was back to running around like crazy (as he does--he's 11 months old, still very much a puppy).
I noticed the same thing for maybe thirty seconds the next day, and for periods of less than a minute a time or two yesterday. He was doing it some today, as well, so I'm sure something is wrong.
I'm calling the vet, and he's actually already scheduled to be boarded at the vet's this weekend (I'm going out of town), so I figure that's the best way for them to watch him. Has anybody had experience with something like this before? It's just kind of odd to me because it's so intermittent. I can't see anything wrong with his leg or foot and he doesn't mind it being handled. Anyways, if anybody has some suggestions, lemme know. Thanks!

Layla, our 2 year old lab, sometimes does that. She still runs around crazily outside and sometimes rocks cut up the pads of her feet. She usually limps inside for a bit and then sits down to try to clean it. Just check your dogs pads and see if there is any bleeding or cuts. Otherwise, maybe it is just something to do with his joints/bones that the vet can check out.
