what is that vintage race car that was pretty much an airplane motor with some wheels strapped on it.
it was some sort of gt/indy/f1 car or something i can't remember

nahh its like a v16 with wheels strapped to them its on every show that talks about old racing and they said the drivers were crazy and were literally bleeding from blisters at the ends of races.

Basically if they didn't crash or break they won.

In 1967, Parnelli Jones almost drove Andy Granatelli's No. 40 fluorescent orange STP Turbine car into history at the Indianapolis 500.

I think they changed the rules in 68 since his car was so dominant but lost due only to a very small part failure.
