what i've seen of it is weak sauce though... and that bites cause i've wanted SCII for... ~8 years now?
they really needed to put more thought into this than it seems they did. most of this mess is the same as 1 except they used WoW 3D models for characters and some 3D buildings. the whole idea for giving it a new angle is great but i just feel like they didn't make enough changes for it to really be as good as i hoped

what changes can they really make beyond new units / buildings / etc?

anything more than taht and you'd have legions of SC1 players saying they changed things too much
