title pretty much says it. I know I want one with USB that will feed into my laptop. Car is GM, if that matters. 5/29/2007 8:43:54 AM |

autozone and advance will read your OBDII codes for free; why do you need your own scanner? 5/29/2007 8:59:37 AM |

why do you need one to send info to your laptop?
i just bought this for my truck. i mounted a bracket and used velcro to secure it to the bracket. this way i can take it out easily if i need to scan a different vehicle.

an obdii → usb would be good if you were installing a carputer
at that point, youd need software to take advantage of it 5/29/2007 12:05:00 PM |

if all u want is a scanner and nothing else search around online. I got one and the software was free they only required you to buy the adapter for laptop-car.
It was really cheap too, however I cant remember the name or website for it 5/30/2007 6:53:10 AM |
