And since when did Afghanistan become a problem for Democrats? I thought they supported that war--before they were against it, I mean--since Afghanistan can definitely be linked to the War on Terror.

I'm not defending Hillary or anything, but what do people actually mean when they say "flip flop?" As people change and go through new experiences, they will often change their views and opinions of things accordingly. Now seeing as politicians are more or less human, is it not possible for them to lean one way on an issue, then later in life decide that they instead want to lean the other way? Or is this simply a matter of telling one crowd that you're against something (to get their vote) and then telling the other crowd the exact opposite (again, to get their vote)? Because I don't know that I'd call that "flip flopping" so much as I would call that flat-out lying.

do you really need to ask that? she can't vote for part of the bill and not the other. it's like people don't realize how our congress even works. every congressman has voted for things that they don't like and voted against things that they do because bills include more than one statement.
