A witness told The Post that Rodriguez and his three companions spent about two hours dining at Harbour Sixty. Rodriguez and the blonde, and possibly the two other men, then were driven in one of Harbour Sixty's cars two miles to the Brass Rail, a flashy strip club located on Yonge Street. The witness saw A-Rod and the woman go into the Brass Rail just after 11 p.m. Home to what one Web site calls, "Toronto's most beautiful all-nude dancers," the Brass Rail is known for its booming sound system, overflowing crowds, overpriced beers and $20 lap dances - a drop in the bucket for Rodriguez, who has a 10-year contract worth $252 million. Rodriguez and the blonde spent an hour or so at the Brass Rail, the witness said. When they walked out of there, A-Rod and the woman were alone. They then got a cab back to the Four Seasons. Their cab pulled up to the hotel minutes after midnight. A-Rod then strode into the hotel behind her. The problem with the crowd analogy is that the crowd, generally, isn't a foot behind you when you're in the middle of the infield. And of course little leaguers still catch the ball -- they couldn't care less whether someone screamed "I got it" or not.

I honestly think it's just a professional courtesy thing. But hey, if that's what the Yankees need to do in order to win a baseball game then it just speaks to what an absolute joke they are right now.

^^ I don't think you understand the concept of calling someone off on an infield fly. The third baseman clearly thought that the shortstop had called for the ball when it was in fact ARod yelling "MINE!" It wasn't like the third basemen simply dropped the ball cause ARod was yelling at him. Definitely a busch league move.

i understand fully well that if you're going to catch a ball, you call of your fellow players so theres not miscommunication...aside from the fact that he should have some semblance of recognition of the voices of at least the left fielder and the shortstop, we've got a roid head about to break a record and a verbal remark in the field of play is somehow a bad thing? its the equivalent of a player at the free throw line and an opponent at the line talking shit...or a catcher talking shit to a batter to try and distract him at the plate...or a defensive lineman or linebacker talking shit to the quarterback before the snap...its part of the game and its absolutely no big deal whatsoever

i also think AROD is a dirty player like most people but I don't think yelling "Mine" was busch league play

it was a heads up play on his part and I give him props for doing it. It's not like the ALCS where he interfered with the play. He yelled something to distract the fielder and the fielder dropped the ball. Fans do it all the time but we are not as successful. That SS should have know the voice of his 3rd baseman better
