Help me out, guys.

I drive a '99 Eclipse (420A with 55K miles.)

I've had a misfire in cylinder 1 for what seems like forever. Of course I started with the plugs and wires. Didn't help. Eventually I found oil above the first cylinder (all over the boot,) I replaced the valve guide seals. But about a minute after I hit the road, I got the same problem again.

By the way, you can really feel the misfire at idle. It dips to what looks like 300-400 rpm. The wires are firing when you look at them out of the cylinder but it is inconsistent.

I changed the coil pack too. That didn't help either.

Any tips on where I should look next? Thanks.

have you checked the injector pulse width, flow rate, and compression on that cylinder?

eh idk. I didn't check it myself. The dude at Rising Sun checked everything out when I took it in for the leak.

start swappin shit is the easiest way for you to do it without any diagnostic equipment, swap injectors, coil, wires and plug to another cylinder, and if you still have a problem on that cylinder, its either mechanical or ecm

^that was the OBD code

and the wire fired inconsistently when I pulled it out of cylinder 1. Plus the oil was in that cylinder too.
