I really enjoyed the first season, and just couldn't get into the second.

Last season's was too much of people who had very little kitchen experience, the finals were an overrated match of a sous chef vs. a fucking salad chef who flirted and cried her way into the finals.

I am hopeful they have some better chefs this season.

IIRC from the 3 or 4 episodes I saw of the first season, it's pretty obvious they are no longer interested getting good cooks/chefs and instead just want to make it look like a freak show full of crazies just like every other reality show.

although I do enjoy the "Fuck Off" at the end from Chef Ramsey, instead of ending with a motivational speech to the loser or soemthing.

There supposed to be making a US version of Kitchen Nightmare though, which is the far superior Ramsey Show. He goes around finding struggling/failing resaurants and tries to turn them around. He finds a great combination of Restaurants that are past their glory and ones that are hilariously bad, but they do a good job of finding some characters.

well, they're probably falling into the same selection patterns that Survivor contestants use: vote off the strongest first so you have a better chance against the weaker ones later

I think he wanted the midget gone, so he put someone else up on the chopping block with him that is nowhere near as bad so the midget would get chosen. Had he put the fat asian guy up there, it wouldve been him.
